then I realized that love Is
it takes a heart so strong
it can suffer the unimaginable
without question
a heart that loves unconditonalky
with total faith in the beloved when they
have none left in themselves
a heart that sees a soul
when they cannot see themselves
and endures storms
over the length of time
Tbis is irresistable because it is contagious
when it all seemed to be just a dream
there you were with angel wings
there is no regret for time lost
as you came as soon as heaven could allow
so young, but with an old soul
the soul of an angel... innocient
yet with fierce determination
you are my fierce grace....
Whatever fires we walk through
my prayer is that those steps
will be taken together
perhaps farytails are not all wrong..
this has been no easy journey
except for the grace of you
who left behind downy wings
to love me when I needed you the most
I saw myself in you....
now you cuddle me like a cat
you are my ninth life
we heal the wounds one by one
and I know now that
love can exist... as it is embodied
in you..
